Over on the Network side of things, I have been frantically uploading my giant collection of pictures to share with everyone in a much easier format to swallow. I’ve now got albums on there from the past two years of Car d’Lane, a couple of the Goodguy’s shows, and the 50′ Fleetline project, and a couple others. I am about halfway there, so I thought I would take a short break and post a few more of my favorite pictures from the ones that I have been going through.

While I was on vacation in California, Nick and Dad went to the Spokane Goodguys car show. Out of the hundreds of cool classic car pictures that they took, I was able to spot a really sweet custom wagon that I had never seen before.

As you can see, this wagon has had some crazy custom work done to it. I love the deep-dish wheels. The entire stance is completely unique; definitely one of the nicest station wagons around! Nice job…

A surprising number of rods, customs, and classics rolled into the North Idaho city of Priest River on the last weekend of July for the annual Hot Neon Nights car event. Sponsored by the Asphalt Angels of Priest River, the Friday night cruise attracted some very cool rides from the surrounding intermountain region, and the downtown streets were jammed with appreciative townfolk and car enthusiasts. The atmosphere in these small town cruises is clearly more relaxed than some of the bigger northwest cruises, and the drivers are more inclined to get frisky and spin their tires for the delight of the spectators. Sensibly executed, this sort of “showing off” doesn’t seem to endanger anyone, and in this writer’s view, adds a lot to the ambiance of a street cruise.
